He has one decade of experience working in various positions starting from branch manager to president. He has worked as branch manager of high net branches of several banks in United States for almost 5 years. He later worked as Zonal Senior Operation Manager for Downey Savings Bank of United States for almost 4 years. He worked as Vice President of Mortgage Lending and Investments of San Diego National Bank for three years. Prior to joining Ghazanfar Bank he was the President & CEO of Bakhatar Bank for two years. Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Ravinder Singh Yadav was born in Delhi, India in the Year 1953 and did his first class Graduation (Honors) from University of Delhi. He has over 30 years of hands on banking experience both in India and abroad. A highly experienced professional in the Operations Side of the Bank who started off his career with Canara Bank in India during 1979 which is one of the largest banks in India having over 2500 branches.He has the unique distinction of being instrumental in setting up three different banks in three different countries that is Etah Gramin Bank in India, Trade Bank of Iraq in Iraq & Ghazanfar Bank (his current employer) in Afghanistan.
Chief Finance Officer
Mr. Hedayatullah Yahya is a Chartered Accountant born in Kabul, Afghanistan in the year 1979. He graduated, achieving a first class BA (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance, from Leeds Metropolitan University of United Kingdom in 2006. He won the best performance awards at each level of his degree i.e. Forties Bank Bursary prize at level, CIMA prize at level 2 and ATT award for the best paper in taxation at level 3.He worked at various finance related posts in the telecommunication company of Virgin Media Inc in Bradford, United Kingdom for several years. He obtained his ACCA membership after completing all exams and work experience in June 2008. His last post before joining Ghazanfar Bank as CFO was at London Business School, London, United Kingdom.
Chief Credit Officer
Mr. Hashinur Rahman is an experienced banker who got his MBA in Marketing from University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh obtaining 1st class in honors and “A” Grade in his MBA degree. He has worked in Afghanistan International Bank as a Corporate & SME Banking Team Leader prior to joining Ghazanfar Bank. He started his banking career with BRAC Bank, Bangladesh in 2003 as a credit officer and later on promoted and performed in different positions such as Zonal Credit Officer and Zonal manager. He is one of the founding members of BRAC Afghanistan Bank and worked as a Territory manager at head office in Kabul. He has extensive knowledge of credit and credit risk management obtained by participating in various national and international seminars/trainings as well as his valuable credit related experience in banking.
Chief Risk Officer
Mr. Siar Khoreishi is a qualified and experienced banker with rich international experience including in the United Kingdom. He got his BA (Hons) in Business Financial Management from University of Westminster in London and MBA in International Management from University of London. He is also CeMAP and CeFA qualified from UK and passed first FRM exam. He worked as Senior Financial Advisor with Nationwide Building Society one of the biggest building society in UK for five years. He then moved to Afghanistan in Sep/2009 and started with AIB as Senior Officer General Banking and worked as Chief Risk Officer with Afghan United Bank. He has achieved broad knowledge of Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk and Corporate Governance Risk by participating international trainings in Dubai and London.
Head of Islamic Banking
Ms. Manezha Sukhanyar was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. She graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia BBA (Hons) specialized in Finance in 2007 .She got her MBA in Islamic Banking and Finance from Graduate School of Management, International Islamic University Malaysia in 2011 and wrote her Master thesis under the supervision of well known Malaysian Islamic Scholars on the area of Islamic Banking and Finance in Afghanistan. She has worked in various fields with the Embassy of I.R of Afghanistan in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She has obtained extensive knowledge of Islamic Banking by participating in various conferences and seminars in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
